The exhaust port of the flat disk pump is in the upper part of the pump, so the impeller is partial to the upper part of the pump, and the liquid level is higher at rest, so the starting current is bigger. The exhaust port of the cone opening vacuum pump is in the lower part of the pump, so the impeller is inclined to the lower part of the pump, and the liquid level is low at rest, so the starting current is smaller, which not only saves energy but also extends the service life of the motor.
